While this is an engine swap, Ford did produce LTDs with the 5.0 in the 80's. Though not very common they did usually have the black-out "euro look" headlight bezels and molding that you see in this picture.

Regardless of your feelings about "The Government," the NTSB knows how to investigate an accident. They are the gold standard. Whether it is a plane, train or automobile deadly accidents are usually a series of events that cascade into disaster. I would reserve judgment on the driver until the report is released.

I think you need to be careful here.
Although there are minimum buy-ins listed, call them anyway. This advice was given to me twenty years ago. I called and was able to open an account even though I didn't have the minimum. Some companies will waive the minimum.
