I saw the bundle on the eShop and barely read anything in the description, got to what it included, and saw the words “Dummy Soul” or whatever, and I was like, I’m sorry, did Evangelion teach you nothing?

And then I went back and read the synopsis.  Cue disbelief…

The hilarious thing is, if you buy the deluxe edition, it comes with an item than revives your sacrificed comrade. So you can pay to not have your heart ripped apart.

Holy fucking fuck, I loved Carmageddon so much as a young teenager. Makes me love Wreckfest even more, it is already my favorite racing game of the last 5 years easily. So much fun and mayhem! <3

I’ve been replaying the original in prep for this release, and it’s held up pretty well! My hands haven’t held up as well with the dual-screen battle system, though...

It has characters and references to the first. It’s presented in a way that I think newcomers would have zero problem following the game, but old fans will get a bit more from it.
