But Fallout 3 still kept all the foundational systems and updated the gameplay. Prey 2017 was literally a completely different game that happened to be in first person.
There was actually a whole process that it went through. There was originally going to be a sequel to the 2006 game, it involved the original character being a bounty hunter on an alien space station, and even had a trailer I think.
As the Atlas Fallen Trailer spooled up, I was sitting there going “Destiny?” no...”Assassin’s Creed?” no.... “Dark Souls???” no..... I even went to “Spellbreak???????” before I finally was like “maybe this is an original IP.
The homogeneity is hard to escape without becoming neon and cel-shaded or something at this…
Watched this on the YouTube TheGameAwards channel livestream; clicked on the first one I saw.
No worries, I was trying to be clear that I had zero evidence and had jumped straight to the conclusion powered by nothing but cynicism.
Hy man, turns out he was promoting new mod tools that make shit like the hidden church possible. So I was......partially right? Eh...more like mostly wrong.
Yes, but your reddit experience isn’t the only one. For example, I created an account because I wanted to save content long, long before I ever posted anything, and I commented semi-regularly for a while before I ever submitted anything. As far as finding the right spot for it, not sure I’d have ever thought of…

I dunno man, 60 player lobby skate parks with zero barrier of entry sounds like it could be fun as shit. I stayed away from Steep and Riders Republic because while fucking around on a giant open playground sounded fun, it didn’t sound 60 bucks fun.
I don’t like Diablo or most Diablo-style games and I LOOOOOOOOVED Marvel Heroes.
That’s your takeaway?
ugh, I am most of the way through the game as a dual-sword character, and I feel like I slept hard on magic. although I’m using sword of night and flame, so I still do use that FP bar occasionally, not just to summon ashes.
that is such an amazing workaround for legality. can’t wait to see how nintendo kills it
WHAT KIND OF MONSTER COSPLAYS NINA?!
I flinched at the spider pic all the way down to my anus.
Then I kept scrolling and the very next god-damn one did it to me again.
You are correct, it is a job, not a game.
In almost every iteration of a Blockchain game, you end up with some sort of absurd combination of Crypto, Gacha, and MLM, in which you buy in using real money converted to Crypto converted to the GAME’s currency which you use to buy blockchain-verified and re-sellable gacha…
I am a huge fan of the aesthetic of this game, plus the monsters being a mix of Yokai and contemporary Urban Legends from Japan. And then the FPS weapons/attacks being a mix of casting Shinto blessings/charms, a modern bow with wisteria-blossom designs and a purple blessing-cord thingy, and Ofuda seals as…
