Mr. Lee, I've been contemplating the purchase of this game for a while, having never played a Witcher game before. I think this great review has finally put me over the edge.

The first was such a fantastic game. I'd pay dearly to have not thrown out my graph paper maps of everything. Even with those I was never able to beat it without the help of the code to get most of the power-ups.

So many great items to choose from. I'm going to go with eating people in Rampage. I've always enjoyed the building climbing and punching simulator going back to the NES/Master System days, but for some reason punching a circle in a building and eating the person out of the bathtub, or eating them out of a window is

Did I sleep for whatever period of time would be required for me to miss the news that CB!B! was moved until Thursday?

I still remember fondly a lot of Tollbooth Willie, and the one where he's the outfielder afraid of getting a ball hit towards him. Although even my 15 year old self didn't like the one (I think it was called the excited southerner meets a college admissions officer) or something where he just talked about his balls.

I don't suffer from the open-world anxiety, but I do suffer from the affliction of completionism. It's manageable in games like Assassin's Creed, the GTAs or the Arkham series, where I can just clear everything off my map before moving on to the next story mission. I almost think of the story mission as a reward for

Even outside of indies, I think the unexpected success of the Borderlands series showed that fun gameplay and non-self-serious/grim storytelling can work in major AAA releases.

"Who needs courage when you have, a gun?"

Now now, let's not paint everything non-Nintendo with an overly dark brush. While differences exist, this game reminds me in some ways of Sony's Fat Princess from a few years back. While not an FPS, it was a team based game with cute-sy, cartoonish graphics where players could contribute by gathering resources,

But then does it sound like your commisserating for Hitler, a la "woe for Hitler's fate?" or is it "woe, there Hitler" and your unhappy that Hitler showed up?

I had always thought "whoa" was an expression of surprise, and "woah" meant slow down

Thanks Tom James

I too am quite excited for House of Wolves. I've been getting back in the action for the past week and a half to get up to speed. It sounds like there'll be a fair bit more meat to this expansion than the Dark Below. Enough ink and ire has been spilled all over the internet on Bungie's inexplicably annoying refusal

Witcher III's been generally well reviewed from what I've seen. Kotaku's review goes through the good, the bad, and gets into the gritty details of combat and world.

Man, I know wish I'd had the foresight to bust-a-rhyme the post.

I play on a Vita and I have to say, the bite-sized gameplay (and the Vita's ability to pause and resume mid-gameplay), makes these games perfect to pick-up and play here and there when I don't have an hour or two to sit down and get into a AAA title. Sometimes it's just easier to pop into a level or Rayman or Shovel

The sequel is even better than the first. You can now manual when you land so you set up level long combos, making it even more punishing on the ol' digits.

Thanks, it's gotten pretty good reviews (despite, as the reviews point out, some remaining gender issues). I feel like a good 100+ hour RPG could be a good way to ride out the summer gaming release drought.

Real life continues to prevent as much gaming as I'd like. Just got under contract yesterday for a new home to buy. So in a few months I'll be joining @snazzlenuts:disqus in some good old Yardwork Simulator '15: Stihl Mowin'.

As a poor college student I did a cold study during one break, where they put us up in the Double Tree up 29. I remember purchasing 13" TV (which I later returned) and treating myself to a new game. I went with NCAA Football '04 for PS2, I think I took the 'hoos to four back-to-back championships during my 4 days of
