I usually end Ocarina with 19 hearts since tracking down enough golden Skulltullas is the worst. POE hunting isn't terrible once you know where they'll be since it's not random.
On CPU these days I'm 100% mouse and keyboard, growing up I used to love any game where I could employ a joystick. Anything flight related but my true love was Mechwarrior games with a 'stick, primarily Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries and Mechwarrior 3. Despite being a heavy gaming grown-up these days I just can't see…
I adore Shovel Knight but already own on other platforms. I'm pretty happy with it being a Zelda-machine at the moment, and my interest in those other games just has me waiting until they're offered as monthly freebies once Nintendo rolls out its multiplayer service.
I too have a Switch, aka a Zelda-player until it soon gains Mario Kart functionality. I've looked with envy on these gatherings and hope they step boldly into our Switching future. (Although I can't make it in May.)
Please grade on a scale of CPAC to As Hell
I need silencers on my gun-blade so I can rid my property of varmints without disturbing the neighbors!
I wanted Dark Void to be good so much! They need to get the Titanfall creators on a remake of that one, gritty or not.
I thought they were just cribbing from Clone Wars Yoda.
Agreed I think FFXV is a pretty solid framework if they use that as a base model for the FFVII remake. I think you could adjust the HP and Damage stats and switch to turn based as well.
It's a very thin line between stupid and clever.
How gauche
I thought it was those damn Lycans.
My problem is that I played so much Starbound in early access I was a bit worn out once the full version dropped. I really need to get back into it as it is awesome. It's Terraria on a huge number of planets with way more stuff. And bird-aliens and robots!
Noctis: I'm all sticky and gross.
Prompto: Woohoo bath time!
Count me as an VIII fan. I still get mad about the time it takes to draw magic up to 100 (curse my completionist nature) but the junction system allowed some pretty awesome customization and tinkering.
I'm not far enough into the story to be able to comment fully on how it falls apart or doesn't. But it really does suffer from the pacing issues that can plague open world games. I've left Iris standing at a gas station for in-game weeks now as I drive around taking pictures and slaying beasts.
It's so good but I felt so depressed by the end.
The way that Gladio's pseudo-mullet billows in the breeze when they drive down the road is reason enough to own the game.
I'm more amazed that with the amount of hype and expectations it wasn't a No Many's Sky level bomb but instead getting reviews on the upper end of mediocre.
