Not at all. Getting a dunk when the other team has given up is trash regardless if the dude is a walk on or not.  If they don’t like it? They can leave - dozens of guys on campus can take his place and do just fine.

LOL no.  You don’t do that when the other team gives up. Don’t like when the coach gets mad? Don’t walk on. 

I have three kids and I have seen how awful our youth sports culture has become. When the third said that he was no longer interested in playing sports in 7th grade, I was so very happy with that decision.  All the positives that sports can bring is completely undone by this stuff.

Why is spring football more viable now?  The USFL had a major television contract. The XFL was a spring league with games on NBC. People don’t want to watch bad football and I doubt they want to watch it in the “wrong” season.

Yeah I’m not sure they’re colluding. The back end of contracts are just bad money. I am all for players having more options earlier...less arb years...some form of restricted free agency...less years of service to become an unrestricted free agent...but the back end of a Machado or Harper deal will not be a good one…

Not sure they are better than either the Bucks or Raptors with this trade. They don’t have a lot of depth.

AD might very well be saying he doesn’t want to go to Boston because he wants to force the Pelicans hand right now. My guess is that if a trade happens with Boston in the summer, AD will sign a long-term deal there.

So in my professional life I have had the opportunity to interact (but not really befriend) a lot of wealthy individuals. Most of them have a incredible focus and drive, and along with some luck and good fortune, this has made them successful. (aka “wealthy”)
