Shrek is a movie about a tyrant chasing away minorities through gentrification, and the title character eventually becomes a revolutionary figure.
So apparently Shrek exists in this universe? That seems like an incredibly insensitive movie to make in a world with fantasy races.
I really wish Netflix had chosen the serial format for this rather than a movie. There is a lot of potential here.
