Uh, actually, there was one brief shot of Will in one of the trailers, with barnacles growing on his face like Bootstrap Bill when Davy Jones was in charge of the Dutchman.

Plus he always looks like he’s having a hell of a time romping around these films. I don’t much care about the plot, or the lack of, I’m always down for watching Depp and Rush sniping at each other.

I got the chills when they did Barbossa’s reveal at the end of Dead Man’s Chest. He really is the only reason I want to watch on Stranger Tides. Still haven’t seen it.

We know that Orlando Bloom is returning to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, but we haven’t gotten an actual glimpse of Will Turner in the footage we’ve seen so far.

Actually we did see will briefly in the last trailer. And it was so obvious Thwaites was playing Will’s son from the trailer, he was actually mimicking Orlando’s mannerisms as Will from the first film.
