The trick with the Aerostich is to get luggage it will fit in! I’ve got 31 liter Zegas (the small ones) on my commuter and my suit just fits inside one. I arrive at my destination and lock up the suit and clove in a pannier, I never have to wear it into work or carry it around with me!

Living in Portland and commuting daily I ride in the rain all the time. The best solution I found is that RainCoat spray on stuff. Works fantastically, I can’t remember the last time I had to wipe my visor, water just rolls off.

Not to nitpick but Ducati’s first attempt at a cruiser was in the late 80's with the ill-fated Ducati Indiana. Looked sort of like a Virago with a Pantah engine crammed into it, if I remember correctly.

If you seriously think that could be justified I really hope you don’t carry a gun...

I’d ride anything no matter the top speed. Just because a bike is quick doesn’t mean you have to ride it WFO all the time.

I always figured if you only ride when it’s sunny out you really aren’t that into motorcycling. In my experience folks who are into it ride as much as possible.

The key to this is not giving a fuck. I know my Roadcrafter is ugly but it’s fantastic for all-weather riding so I stopped caring, same with my bike, it’s grungy but I stopped caring because I’d rather ride all the time than spend it detailing my bike...

Better than RainX, I ride every day, rain or not, and this stuff works great:
