Always my favorite part of any international auto show. Someday if I ever digitize my old photos, I will share. Honda F1 V12, V10, Olds Quad 4 from Aerotech, Mercedes Illmor F1, etc.

Thanks so much for that, never saw it before!

I am lucky enough to have as much OT as I can make, so here is what I do. My standard week id 40 regular, plus 5 OT. If its a short week, i.e. holiday, vacation, etc, then I always try to make up the OT hour I missed. I keep track of it on an old pay envelope. If I get paid my regular 45 hrs, then its a dash. If I’m

That’s a bit much to pay for something powered by a QUAD4 (remember those)?

I stopped listening to Metal when I drive in traffic, Classical or podcasts only while driving home on the LIE at 4pm. Much easier to just brush off some idiots changing lanes 20 times to gain 2 car lengths.

Call me crazy, but How can Russia(who can’t even keep its 1 crappy aircraft carrier running), afford to keep building new nukes? Hopefully their new nuclear powered/ nuclear missile launching drone sub won’t be as troubled as their carrier. My guess? it runs aground into a certain chinese man made island in the South

It really depends on which model you get. My wife has a 2011 Kia Sorento, which we love, fully loaded, plenty of power. We bought her daughter a 2013 Tucson. I hate it. Cheap build, uncomfortable seats, crappy plastic everywhere. Try before you buy and check everything, because its the little thinks that you miss,

If you are unfortunate enough to have to park on the street, or just off the street, grad some plastic wrap, like saran wrap, or the industrial stuff if you have access, and wrap the bottom of the car so the sand/salt truck doesn’t mess up your nice wheels/door sills/paint. Used to do this for my Mercedes SLC when I

Its a genetic anomaly. I have been taking all kinds of stuff apart, just to see whats inside, and maybe (improve/break)it. Started when I was really little, and continues to this day. I’m a CNC tech now, so you would think i would be sick of it, but no. My dad couldn’t change his own oil, or repair a thing.

Snow tires are worth every penny. Also, thinner, higher profile tires work way better. So, take off those 255/50R18s and put some 205/65R15s or whatever the equivalent for your tire is. Always test out your tires and grip level by hooning in a nice flat parking lot whenever you have a chance. Getting used to being

Reminds me of a time, way back in the 90's, I had to go to Owatonna, MN. It was NFC championship weekend, on game day. I had just come back from working on some machine for 12 hrs, got to the hotel and realized I’D FORGOTTEN TO BUY BEER!!!!!. No biggie, just a quick walk across the parking lot, then across the 4 lane.

At my first mechanic job when I was 19, my boss asked me to replace the electric rear window motor on his Vista Cruiser type wagon. I removed the bolts holding it and the wires, and I think had something holding the window in the up position. As I pulled out the motor and gearbox, I heard a bang, then something stab

Thats because they changed it like, every year. I remember this because of the dune buggy. This intro ran the first couple of seasons. Then there was “the new Pink Panther show”, which had a different song. then there was the “Think Pink Panther show”, different song again and different intro scenes. Back in the 70's

Were they using the long course with the boot? I wanted to go to this soooo badly, but had stupidly made other plans prior. Vintage Grand Prix you say? Hmmmmmm.

My wife’s 2002 Ford Escape XS. She owned a Maxima, which got rear ended. She had a silver Escape XT as a loaner while the Maxima was being repaired. Fell in love with it. She found this one at a Hyundai dealer. Black, XS base model. Test drove it, wasn’t impressed, but stupidly bought it anyway. Changed the rotors 3

IMHO, this was the best sounding F1 car I’ve ever heard. I was lucky enough to be at Hockenheim in 94, and the minute we got to our area, just at the first chicane, and those red cars came flying up the strait, I turned to my buddy, a huge Schumacher fan, and told him “sorry bud, the Ferraris WILL win this weekend. It

Excellent. thanks for the heads up.

I got screwed like that too by Optimum TV(long Island), I rescheduled my DVR to record ANY F1 hoping it would catch a replay, but since they didnt update their scheduling, I missed it 3 times. Came home yesterday to find it on for the last 10 min, and the schedule said “indycar racing". UGH

Montreal is a really great City to see an F1, or even an Indycar race. I was fortunate enough to go from 92-2006 almost every year. The weather is usually really nice, the people a great, and the exchange rate is almost always favorable. Nothing prepares you the first time you walk over one of the bridges and the cars

One of my favorite episodes ever. Hank Scorpio, misunderstood genius.
