Super Bowl question: if you replaced the halftime show with just about anything (let's say the movie "Ass") would anyone besides Katy Perry and Pepsi care?

Austin seems inflated, too. Even in heavy traffic, I don't think it would take 40 minutes to get downtown. Especially if you avoid I-35.

His replies have a wonderful "I am Groot" quality to them. So much meaning out of one phrase.

My favorite part of that clip is the umpire with his chin in his hand, casually following the flight of the emery board to the ground...

In the case of Cool Ranch Doritos vs. Hint of Lime Tortilla chips, I would have to vote for Hit by a Car.

Man, this would have been perfect in a Ken Burns style. Now I've got another reason to be mad about what they did with the movie...

I believe in this case that the word "report" actually means "I just pulled this out of my ass".

I'd like to talk about what's really important here: what do we rename the Raiders when they move to San Antonio? Granted, the current Raider colors work well with the Spurs, but I think they'd need a new name.

Personally, I loved the music at the end of the clip. It's just perfect for curling.

The wife and I went through a similar situation a few years back, and I can't imagine if she'd had to carry that child to term—it was traumatic enough as it was.

Yeah, even I can't justify it. He's a prime candidate for the Hall of Pretty Good, though.

I, for one, am outraged by the decline of buggy whip sales.

Is Edmonds really a serious candidate next year? As a Cards fan I'm biased and would love to see him get in, but I'm not sure his actual numbers warrant it.

Great universities are committed to serving the public good by creating space for discourse and exchange of ideas, though that exchange may be uncomfortable and will sometimes challenge values and beliefs.

As a Cardinals fan, this is a bad news/good news situation. Bad news: the Cubs have all the appearances of a contender next year. Good news: we may actually get to play meaningful games with the Cubs again.

I just learned about this during Thanksgiving. Cannot wait to try it out.

I'm sure there were people calling out the PED users at the time, though I can't think of one. What that points to for me is that the people with any sort of power to affect any change weren't doing a thing. I don't know that his refusing to vote helps anything other than a very non-controversial, well-respected

I just take it as him saying that every era has its issues (dead ball, no black players, greenies, PEDs, etc.), and it doesn't make sense to retroactively become all moral about something that was tacitly accepted at the time. I like his point.

This just in: families are not allowed to mourn loved ones that died in drunk driving accidents caused by said loved ones. From now on, they must burn the loved one in effigy.

Go Dawgs!
