To everyone talking about the play, pause, and stop buttons at the top; those are used to control the torrent themselves. However, in recent versions of uTorrent there is a play button available next to running video file torrents that, when pressed, starts playing the file and starts requesting its blocks

I'm not sure if you're joking or not but if not, what they're actually trying to take a picture of is, as stated in the article, "a bright mass of swirling gas and dust getting into a shadow hole of nothingness."

I think he's saying that MSE is running on one or more computers with legit copies of Windows and Avast! is running on one or more systems with illegitimate copies of Windows installed. When I'm installing AV's for people whose computers I repair, I use MSE for legit systems and Avira for people with cracked copies.

Here we meet one of the people who actually ARE the proverbial 'you' on the internet ^_^

Yeah, I'm thinking that's what happened here. For some reason it didn't explode and he walked up to it to figure out what went wrong, then he touched the bottle of Liquid Nitrogen with his body temperature hand which set it off causing this...sub-optimal outcome.

So, my question is, when was this picture taken? Is this a recent incursion of US airspace or an image from the Cold War? I only ask because I've heard about Russia annoying certain European countries with airspace incursions and I was wondering if they're doing the same to us.

I considered this to be just as ironic as the fact that Microsoft is planning to move away from having a GUI in their 'Windows' Server products.

You have to be starred like 'Argg! there goes a...snake a snake!' to promote posts.

And the post immediately after yours has it embedded ^_^

It's still in Portal 2 and other games on that engine. 'godmode 1' in the console IIRC.

Yeah, I'll need to pick up a PS3 if it's an exclusive.

My PS2 broke just after I finished G.U. 1 about...wow it was the Conference championship round 2007. So, about 5 years ago now. I never got around to getting a new one and I didn't buy a PS3 so I've never played GU 2 or 3 >_< Now I'm going to need to do that.

I was on a boat, but it sunk.

Since this did happen immediately adjacent to land, maybe some of those 50 people just swam to shore and forgot to report their situation to the ship operator or authorities.

The original seeder will have that information to begin with. Every other user gets the information from them first just like the files themselves.

You can still pick and choose files but they'll all be selected out of the gate by default. You just need to change unwanted files to 'Do Not Download' after starting the download.

I remember the when I was a High School Junior (2002) and I saw an orange car with a license plate that read 'CHAR04'. That was the point when I realized that we kids who played Pokémon were actually driving....

Gawker!? What about Deadspin commenters? They've even been thrown under the bus by Huffington Post before ^_^

Hmm...is Godzilla really taller than a Blue Whale is long, or are we just measuring mass?

Removing DRM is illegal in the US because of the DMCA but if you've bought the ebooks I see exactly zero moral or ethical issues with it. This is the problem with some of these laws. If people don't see breaking them as being 'wrong' then they'll probably be broken.
