Hmm...I've only voted in two presidential elections (yeah I'm only 26 sue me) but in Michigan I've never seen fewer than 7 candidates on the ballot I'll admit that until election day I'd never heard of the ones from outside the four parties you mentioned (plus the '08 Independent Ralph Nader) though.
