I understand what you're asking now. As I understand it, even if you port your Sprint number to Google Voice, it's still owned by Sprint. So if Google Voice goes down then the worst case scenario is that only your Sprint phone will ring and not the others.

Well in that case then your individual phone numbers still work just fine. A failure of Google Voice will not prevent you from making phone calls. And if someone needs to contact you in case of an emergency I'd hope that they'd have more than one number for you anyway. For example my emergency contact information

Your phone service is still through your providers.

I think that this year I'll convince my younger brother and his newly 21 friends to drink one shot of Everclear in a mixed drink instead of Vodka. 96% Alcohol by volume fun times ^_^

Same here but for a Christmas party, fortunately I din't drink as much as the guy that clogged the toilet with vomit but still....

All of this is why I am a VERY happy Sprint customer right now. I used (I didn't realize it at the time) over 59 GB last month and they haven't said a word to me about PDANet ^_^ Not too shabby....

Skype does 3G calling now so I may consider Virgin Mobile if I ever choose to drop the contract ^_^

Well, Sprint used to only charge the extra $10 per month on 4G devices now they include it on ALL smartphones. That's why I got an Optimus S in December before the new plans went into effect.

Well, don't for get that part of the reason that the Chernobyl meltdown was such a large disaster is the fact that in addition to being a nuclear power plant its reactor was also used to weaponize nuclear material. Even so, it's hard to mistake one for the other.

@Salari: Tempest of Light! "Destroy all enchantments."

@Shinta: I managed to make it to about 3:14 before I started scrolling down to check the comments. It's still playing though....

@Tatterfoal: To hit on your point about evolutionary differences in intelligence between Kizinti genders, the Kizinti bred intelligence out of their females AFTER they became sentient. I'm trying to remember which Man-Kizin Wars novel it was where I learned this but it doesn't come to mind immediately.

@Ignignokt: Awww, I wanted to see her reaction. Once I delivered phone books and I think the total was only about 600 for my route. How did this guy get 330?

The problem with that is this 3D technology is probably the basis of the better hologram type 3D technology. Therefore, the 3D glasses technology had to come first and hopefully the profits from this stuff will go towards R&D for the holographic stuff we all want ^_^

Personally I could get with no-glasses 3D and as a DDR player of old (even if I'm not that good...) I have no issues with motion based gaming. While I don't 'love' either one and am content playing a simulated 3D FPS with a controller I plan on getting DanceMasters and Kinect for my 360 and, depending on the games, a

@earle117 & @orijimi: Thanks for that information. I thought that since theaters used projectors that specific screens weren't necessary but upon further research I discovered the specially mirrored screen. Oh well time to find those old school Red & Blues.

@Brak: And the out of time speed up at the end wow....

@fluidexistence: That or become a business customer. My brother got an EVO in two days even though they were 'sold out' at $125 w/ two year contract extension since he's a business customer.

Wow...YouTube has all of those other types of 3D glasses in the selection but not the theater style RealD 3D ones with the circular polarization. Those are the only ones I have in the house. The 'Magic Eye' cross-eyed method has never worked for me. I always just perceive two separate images. I guess my mind works

@Bustout: Have one in storage. We found it in the basement when my mother was moving. We tested it and it still works! She's deciding whether to keep it or sell it now.
