    Why do you not use trees? used quite a lot in the UK

    Austin allegro:

    Thinking about this, I guess the whole bidirectional, 4-wheel steering thing could help reduce production costs, in that it reduces the amount of unique components.

    Fun way of looking at things;

    TBH, I thought the exact opposite; thought the rest of the car was lovely, but the tachometer just looks tacky. I get making it a bit of a highlight, to contrast the other gauges, but it should match the style of the rest in some way, have some continuity, and it just doesn’t. there’s no common line to the rest of the

    Ah, the 250TR; a fine choice. Would sir/madam like the tank filled or drained?

    Yeah... I believe them. No reply. They’ve been dealt with.

    Is it ferrondue or fondarri? Also, what would be the best ferrari to toast for your ferronduarri, given the choice? I’m going to take a guess that one with a bit of age (1940's-50'sish) would be best; later, you’d get too much burnt plastic

    There’s a difference between getting the warm fuzzies and being able to sleep at night. Anything is a question of where you draw the line, how much you’re willing to ignore for your own personal benefit. If I had a kid or something to support, those lines would be drawn a bit differently, but I don’t; there’s just me,

    Kind of worth throwing an extra in there;

    Take out the driver, and what you have is a useful software development platform. Racing has long been used for R&D; autonomous racing allows you to push a different aspect of it.

    I’m entirely in favor of this proposal; cutting weight basically improves everything about a car, except maybe cost, and pushing it to be more mainstream should help with that, too. Bring on the superleggeverything

    I’m entirely fine with bolt-on flares, and I’d be fine with these, apart from one thing.

    Pretty neat; logically, this would also be trivial to couple with an extra planetary low-ratio gear; Not sure if they’ve done that here, but it’d seem a sensible move. Playing devil’s advocate, though; does this give you that much improvement over dropping the tire pressure?

    Regen won’t really add any notable weight; there’s no real extra hardware needed. if anything, using regenerative breaking would probably reduce the weight, as it would allow them to use smaller, lighter brakes.
