    Never go the full Torch. Unless you’re Jason, in which case you’re already a lost cause, albeit the best kind of lost cause.

    Two things; One practical, one moral;

    As an Englander (though not a southerner, because the north’s just better, and you should re-think) I’d recommend the AMC eagle. If you buy a big-ass truck, you’re going to be viewed as being a bit of a dick, particularly if you’re parking in London; they’re massive, and will get in people’s way. The Eagle’s only

    I can’t speak for you, but I feel another thing is the freedom of working with junk; you can fuck up, and it’s not going to sting. If you have something pristine, you kind of feel a duty to keep it that way. If there’s a few dings and dents there already, you can relax a bit.

    Got to admit, I’m with Mark on this; I like the vintage feel, but I’d rather update it and keep it practical and in use, than keep it totally original; It’s not museum-quality, but it’d be a nice base. the If you buy a new RV, you loose the feel and history.

    I’m sure we can work on that.

    Scimitars are an infuriatingly attainable car over here (the slowly fracturing kingdom); I’ve set myself a budget of £2500 to get myself a classic first car (Reasoning: A; I can get insured for ~£600 on a classic policy, rather than ~£3000 on a normal one, and B; I want to do something stupid before I have to be

    Getting a classic car (preferably an estate, like maybe a morris minor traveller, Triumph 2000, or a ford cortina), tweaking it to a kind of ridiculous degree with subtle, but high-tech gizmos (electronic valve control, through-the-road hybrid drive to the front wheels, trick long-travel suspension, to get decent

    Never been a fan of the testarossa either; It’s iconic, but that doesn’t have to mean good looking.

    Likewise; it’s grown on me a little, but I always thought the enzo looked too fussy, particularly round the nose.

    Man, I could almost forgive this if it was a shooting brake; this...

    To be honest, “Blacksmith” would be a pretty solid name for a car company. I’d happily buy a “Blacksmith 458 special”

    I’ll be honest with you, you’re doing a pretty good job of selling this idea...

    Kristen’s gone rogue

    A lot of people are pointing out the weird seatbelt-harness-bedpan-massage hole things, but what’s with the roof console? could they not find a better solution to it than that bodged on lump sticking out the top of the windscreen?

    Two-tone’s already back;

    Nice job; It’s fun seeing the progression with this.

    I love those; they get a lot of stick for not being a sports car, but they’re beautiful machines, and I’d love to have one as a cruiser someday.

    They were insured, taxed, and licensed as a motorbike and sidecar, though, which brought the cost of ownership down. A reliant robin might not be as cool as a motorbike and sidecar, but it’s more pleasant when it’s pissing it down with rain, and more practical when lugging stuff and family around the place.

    I’d have said so; Performance EU fords tend to end up pretty solidly in classic territory pretty quickly, so I see no reason for the FiST to be any different
