Put it in reverse; basically the same thing
Honestly, I can’t see that this is going to be costing them all that much to develop; It’s a beefed-up stripped-back variant; there’s nothing high-tech going on, and few dedicated parts (I’d guess). the cost of development is probably less than the cost of even just a facelift of one of the more common models, an will…
comparatively massive opening area, and fold-down seats; internal area might be around the same, but you’re putting it in through a massive opening rather than a letterbox.
Got a tip for this guy; If you get a spanner and take the doors off the car, you can get in and out without having to open the door and get fingerprints on the doorhandles...
I honestly don’t know which is worse; I guess overly babying your car at least shows respect for what you’ve got, although it seems a bit ridiculous not to enjoy it.
I can’t watch those front-drive, rear-steer race tractors without laughing; they must be insane. I struggle to imagine what it must be like driving those at speed. I love it.
The 2CV is just a ridiculously cleverly designed car; I never cease to be impressed with how simple these cars are to strip down and put back together; I wish everything was built like the 2CV. I’d be sorely tempted to get one, but I’d be a bit nervous about the safety, even though it’s one of the first cars with a…
How hard would it be for them to rig up two variants; an solid front axle on the off-road-spec cars, and IFS on the rest; if they go solid on it, they’ll still be adapting the everest setup to accept it, so it wouldn’t be hard to keep the everest IFS as an option, surely?
They’re quite nice about it really; they give you one as part of the whole rant:
Obviously not; but you’re still not going to need all that capacity for what will likely be a pretty short race.
Probably reducing the size of the battery pack; you don’t need a 380-mile range on a racing car. The whole car weighs 2,108kg, while the battery 544kg; you can ditch a fair chunk of that. the rest probably comes from the standard form stripping of the car.
It’s dumb, but get the clicks, and it’ll pay for the bumper; such is life, in this click-addled world.
Dump a hybrid system in it; hypermusclecar style.
Seems to have sorted it self, so I stared you again. Seemingly, the stars are very different today.
I tried to recommend your post, but the counter went down every time I clicked the star. You were at 43, if that’s any help.
NP; for $400, this seems like a pretty clean ride; I like the moon discs. Also, remarkably good photography; the exterior shots could be straight out the sales brochure.
