It reminds me of the white car Jeremy Clarkson built in a episode of top gear just revised a bit.

My mother’s co-worker/friend had one and it wasn’t a bad car. I got to also see the SCCA race versions race at lime rock in CT once It was cool to see them lift a rear wheel in the S curves of the track!
Toyota Paseo
How about a Honda Element? They are the Swiss army knife of cars
from that angle of the photo above it reminds me of what a 2012 Rav4 would look like with only 2 doors.
It can also be used to grate cheese when you can’t find your household cheese grater.
I’m glad that this will be available but to the many classic VW geeks like me, half the charm is the sound of their engines the other half being how they look. If they could at least give it a soundtrack to go with the electric battery packs I’d be on board. Golf cart indeed!
I kind of agree this one is cool but it looks like a toy car that was stepped on with the wheels bent to that camber angle.
I don’t care about sales numbers. There’s a REAL reason classic VW Beetles and even some modern ones are still popular. Just gotta keep a eye open to actually SEE them
Yeah Volkswagen is becoming a lot like Honda, killing cars that do each have their own cult following. IE Honda Prelude and Element for example.
I don’t know about where you live but where I live I still see plenty of the latest and last generation of Beetles around.
Good now bring back the Beetle! We all know the Beetle had more character and charm throughout it’s entire lifespan than any golf ever will!
Worse than Doug Demuro too!
What cartoon did they steal this from? Also how many clowns can fit inside?
Chevy had the Corvair ramp side pick up and Ford with the falcon econoline van based pick up all around the time that this red a-100 was around. I really love these because they are not your average truck and are more rare!
Mess with a stingray you’re going to get stung, just saying!
I always thought of these as a modern version of the VW Karmann Ghia. The original Ghias had curves that kind of matched the beetle back then and these TTs were round like the born-again beetles of the early 2000s too.
I think he should save the money for camping and adventures and get a honda element. The seats fold flat to make a double size bed rubber floor makes it easy to clean after the trip, good on gas, has all wheel drive and easy to drive in town as well. Some even came as camper pop up conversions!
A neighbor of mine last spring totally toasted a blazer that same way.
I’m totally surprised nobody above suggested a Subaru WRX. I love Torch’s way outfield choices. The Rolls is cool but maintenance costs mean these twins might not go to college.
