You’ve got some valid points but you’re missing one key item: $500 to $600 in the PC world will not get you a ‘decent’ PC capable of doing what the One X is going to do out of the box. When you say it’s microsoft stopping you it reads like they are doing something bad but what you’re talking about is one of the most consumer friendly moves any of the companies have made in a long while. You described my setup and it’s perfect for me. I have a Gaming PC, Pro, and Switch. And a Steam Link. I see no need for the X1X that would make me want to give them $500.
