Wellllll...the 2021 Durango Hellcat WAS only a single model-year run. Now they’re making a 2023...which will also only be a single model-year run. And if they make a 2024 it will also only be a single model-year run.

Cool, cool, cool...but what about when EV production scaling and infrastructure fail to meet demand?
“It’s not because Sony paid us, definitely not that. They’re definitely not doing what they’re trying to argue Microsoft would do with Activision games, definitely completely unrelated and not hypocritical.”
Recalling 18 trucks feels like they found someone drinking on the job and those are the ones that made it through their station.
No developer WANTS to release a bad version of their game...and Sony knows this. Bad faith actions at every turn with this whole debacle.
Sony is insufferable. They lead Xbox in marketshare 2:1 or better in almost every market except the US. Hell, it’s more than 95:5 in Japan. They’re just being pissy about a game that has already been guaranteed to be on their platform for more than a decade into the future. All this does is make them look weak,…
...it’s pretty easy to if you don’t play Destiny.
Honoring the warranty is only guaranteed for the first owner, car companies honor the warranty with subsequent owners as a courtesy. It’s why Kia can change their powertrain warranty terms from 10-years/100k miles to 5-years/60k miles upon sale to a second owner. A second owner could take a car into service and have…
I mean, stop making cars and make everyone else’s batteries.
It feels like they keep lowering the price to see at what point some holdouts in their target demo would bite...but the joke on them is that you’d have to pay a lot of people in that group at this point to drive a Tesla, I know I’m in that group. I still don’t get why forecasts are so rosy and their market cap is…
In fact, they basically said there aren’t going to be any NEW cars at existing factories because they can’t stop a factory long enough to retool it without going out of business. Their only way of introducing new architectures is building new factories.
Then it’s weird they kept taking reservations for the Truck for almost two years, ending with somewhere between 40-50k truck reservations and a similar number of SUV reservations.
Ehhhhhhh, GM only sold 856 Hummers in 15 months, with 89,000 reservations. This year probably won’t be much better for the Silverado and Sierra which have 200k+ reservation. I don’t think it’s just startups with problems scaling EV production.
Depends on the scale. GM’s goal a year ago was to satisfy almost all of the 40-50k Hummer EV truck reservations by the end of this year (they’ve delivered 850 in 15 months). They’ve recently admitted it will be 2026 or beyond before they satisfy reservations, not the end of 2023. So yes, on a large enough scale, 850…
GM’s barely doing better with the Hummer. They sold 854 in 2022 but their earnings reports say they built close to 6,000. Which is weird because they haven’t even started taking orders or options for trucks past the first 1200 built-to-a-spec Edition 1s and identically built 1800 dealer demos, so no one knows what the…
That is TOO much for a Gallardo Spyder.
Nintendo especially, their attempt to quash and bury leaks is often more successful at bring awareness to something than if they had a media campaign focused on it.
This is likely more Nintendo than Lego. Nintendo is notorious for threatening to cancel business deals over leaks and including language in contracts giving them more leeway to do so than almost any other company I know of. Lego rarely makes a peep when a set leaks, I mean, they even include photos of unannounced sets…
I just had someone recode my E63 to unlock the Adaptive headlights. The hardware is the same as Europe, they just turn off the adaptive software. It works GREAT. But it does confuse the hell out of people.
