Which is worse, this or the Hummer EV’s situation?
With how quickly (slowly) they’re building Hummers that could mean 10 Celestiq orders.
...but they barely made a 1000 Hummers in a year. I know because I’m one of the 89,000 others in line waiting for their constantly talked about but hasn’t happened increase in production. They’ve got 2 weeks to meet their “Fall ‘22" target for the release of the non-Edition 1 model, the 3X and they haven’t even…
Shocker that their bad decisions and irresponsibility don’t stop with not getting vaccinated.
I guess my point was, if you’re going to add 700+lbs of hybrid hardware (making it 400lbs heavier than a Model 3 Performance and the same weight as a loaded E63 wagon), just gut the rest of the ICE system and go full EV. Like I said in another article. AMG’s lineup is beginning to look like a short-term EQ backup plan.
Well, I mean, they’re not going to be like “oh yeah, huge mistake, we shouldn’t have done this” the month the car launches, are they? I still think they should have just had a clean petrol break and made some flagship AMG EVs. The EQ line is probably the most boring, bland EV lineup on sale today. Every decision they…
I own a current E63 Wagon. It’s my 4th AMG following a CLK Black Series, a C63, and a SLS. The 4-cylinder+battery hybrid is a mistake and it’s dumb. Either string out another generation of turbo V8s or go full EV. They’re trying to ride two horses at once. And in my opinion, its time to move on. The EQE and EQS are…
This is the PERFECT example of a “I don’t know if I want to buy this, but I’ll play it on Game Pass” game.
...Microsoft has a “monopoly” on game subscription services the same way Benz had a “monopoly” on cars in 1886. Making the first viable, marketable, good version of something isn’t a monopoly, it’s just being first. Sony’s playing catchup because they WANT the future to be $70 stand alone products you can only…
Well, this morning the EU dissented with the FTC reasoning for their suit.
They’re the only company making formal complaints that regulators are “taking into consideration”.
*rubs hands* Getting closer to that magic $1999.99 price required to pull the trigger on an Ark purchase. (It’s what it should have been priced at to begin with)

They offered a 10 year CoD deal to Sony (which they haven’t taken yet) and offered the same deal to Nintendo (who took it). It’s hard to make the case that you wouldn’t be competitive without Call of Duty when Nintendo exists.
If you put up $70bil for Activision, you aren’t really sweating millions in legal fees. This feels like the result of Sony trying to make up for a lack of foresight in the subscription/content acquisition by gumming up the works for Microsoft. One way to be “right” about keeping first party games off subscription…
Well, their early goal was to be the WoW of shooters...and I guess they achieved it as far as player count and engagement over expansions and time goes. My trajectory with Destiny 2 has had a similar trajectory to my time in early WoW. Super hardcore and enjoyable through the first couple of expansions followed by a…
If I had millions and someone sent me $70k over domestic abuse I’d donate that $70k to a domestic abuse charity...or return it with an appreciative note.
Carve this rule of autonomous vehicles in stone:
That’s why I also would have been fine with another short delay, but I think they didn’t want to be any closer to the Dead Space remake launching in 7 weeks, ironically.
Oh thank god they’re killing themselves fixing it, I don’t have anything else to play. /s
