I LOVE Dragonwyck. Joseph L. Mankiewicz wrote this shortly before he wrote All About Eve. Despite the obvious differences in period and place, the crackling dialogue is unmistakable. It also reunites the radiant Gene Tierney with the “sinister” Vincent Price.
