Ya know, I actually had no idea that the front and rear were specced from the road car. I feel like a buffoon now. So what are the limitations then that do govern the nose and tail? As in, how far can they go with the road car and expect that to show up on the race car?

This time, the Toyota teams responsible for winning . . . races . . . had more input on the road car’s design, particularly with aerodynamics in the front of the car. In other words, those frightening jaws, which incorporate an aggressive air scoop below the headlamps, are there to . . . help keep it truly grounded

It could be related to the fact that a year ago (to the day, actually) he published an article about how amazing the “real” FF (this one, purportedly) was in the flesh after it was highly-secretly revealed to him. Now he’s here at CES a year later going on a Corporate demo ride with a some-level engineer in a car that

Check out the Mighty Car Mods channel on youtube. Some crazy Australians that absolutely love LOVE boost and explain loads of different aspects really really clearly.

Remember that time Alex Roy said he’d seen the FF car and that it was awesome? So, what about that? Are Jalopnik and Roy still on good enough terms to get an idea from him (someone who’s actually seen it) what’s going on?

Seems like it’s got some GTO in it.

Two things.

Also, different wheels.

So that sub box went right through the back of his head, right? Even if he was down to 50 by the time he humped the dump truck, that’s pretty fast for a wooden box and speaker to come flying at your head.

It is also important to know that Mr. Scott has used personal resources to loan money to the race team to support it...

Was that the quote - “like pulling a greasy string out of a dog’s ass,”?

And if one does take a suicide dash in front of you, grip the wheel, say one hail mary, and plow right through it. Do not risk your life, or the life of others on the road, to save Bambi. Your car will most likely be creamed, both literally and figuratively, but at least you will be alive to pay for the damage.

Well, it took ~820 days to build the 5,500 mile pipeline in the early 60s. That’s around 6 miles of pipe per day. There have been 9 spill incidents since it was finished in ‘64 including both Alabama incidents. It’s likely that’s just how long (or short) these repairs take.

In a sense, I suppose. Former SUV owner and current 3-series touring owner. I left behind an SUV for a wagon. I couldn’t remotely understand why I would get a cross-over when, based solely on the interior space measurements, it’s essentially just a lowered SUV. (Look at a Subaru Outback next to a BMW X3.)

Truth. If you’re at a race track and you see a wreck, everyone run towards it and get as close as you can. Smh.

NBC = Now Broadcasting Commercials. The NASCAR coverage from NBC and NBCSN is absolutely abysmal, not to mention such gems from Letarte as “if you wanna win races, you gotta run the fastest laps”.

Not even going to read the article and say NICE PRICE!

It’s “I very subtly...”

If there ever was a car worth buying and stashing away, this must be it. It’s a tragic thing to do with such a beautiful and brutish car, but I can’t imagine that 10, 20, 30 years down the line, when this sort-of exotic market has gone full digital, buyers won’t be pining for the day when the Viper existed.

Let’s finish this article for ya:
