I don't like the HANS branded one. I prefer my Necksgen.

There are signs on 4 lane highways in many rural areasvinbtexas and Oklahoma that say "left lane for passing only" or something to that effect. They need these signs everywhere. Additionally there was some guy in texas who was convicted of manslaughter a decade or so ago. Basically he didn't like some lady driving

+1. In addition, those signs that say "slower traffic keep right" need to be replaced with the signs that say "keep right except to pass". Nobody wants to think of themselves as slow, so nobody wants to stay right.

Perhaps your last point is the reason that this technology didn't take over long ago? Another great idea that has serious drawbacks in real life- severe cold, stifling heat, vibrations, water, poor maintenance, etc...

The story probably happened in a time and place when there were unlocked doors and roll up windows. Not everything in this world has happened in the precious little environment you call your own.

Of course! That kind of attitude is vital to the "vetting" process that all new technology such as this must go through before it can be truly accepted.

That's a good point, although direct injection engines consistently run 70+psi, and diesels can go well over 100psi. I would think you could run it at a relatively low pressure as long as you have a good flow rate and large reservoir, but then again, I have no idea what their design is like, so it's all just guessing.

touché

Just realized I'm in a similar situation to you with regard to car choice: mine's a chipped Saab 9000 with bolt-ons that's about 40% more powerful than stock, and very importantly it's OBD1 so there's fewer things for the ECU to panic about and throw a CEL. Given my familiarity with things that can go wrong with

Does this mean that sport and sport+ buttons might actually do something?

So on the upstroke, the exhaust valve is opened for half the stroke, then a really quick intake opening before the piston gets too far (so there is still a chance for compression)?

I think it's more in the sense of, it's able to work on diesel and petrol. The two gas tank idea is an extreme but wouldn't be done.

There would have to be a failsafe/backup system in case you lose pressure while in motion. Wouldn't want to relive GM's current ignition switch issues.

At what point does Universal come after you for leaking the script for Fast & Furious 7?

I think the people of Brunei need to be "freed" next. Somebody needs to liberate that insane car collection...

Thank you for not burning the cars, Ukraine. This why you're the best and not Canada.

At least he has more subtle taste in cars than Gaddafi.

Well, there goes that tranny (Acura), i.e. slow death.

This is a dumb jeep owner. He has big tires and all the gear, but not locking diffs. You can see him kicking up snow on one side and the tires not spinning on another. Jeez.
