I had Innovative 60A polyurethane engine mounts on a different car (Acura RSX) and would not use them for a street car. Even now I have aftermarket rubber mounts that are slightly stiffer than OEM (S2000) but they annoy me enough at idle that I’m looking at OEM or near-OEM options.
I hate to target a particular age demographic here, but let’s just say that this is a problem that I’ve noticed to be acutely prevalent in a demographic that rhymes with “shucking biennials.”

A friend of mine has two. One with two seats and all of the factory “creature comforts” (if you can even say it has those). The other is a purpose built track car with a single, center mounted seat and nothing there that isn’t needed on track. He obviously loves them as well.

Yeah that does make sense. Saying that, I don’t know how much I value the niceness of a modern car in monetary terms. The thing I always come back to is relative cost during ownership.
