@Alicemagic: I disagree with that analogy. Without light, everything is shadow. Without love, all that is left is hate and indifference.

Seriously? Dumbest thing I've read all day.

@cdevlin: Yeah, who does that?

@NerzzleintheVerzzle: Are you saying Apple would do better with another piece of hardware that would operate on Verizon's network?

@MacAttack: In the name of science? Sinister...

@Curves: ...not that Apple doesn't spend like crazy on ads on its own....

@A Pimp Named DaveR: Gotcha. You probably have a point then, especially if the option already exist to disable it. Your Andy Rooney comparison is apt. I retract my speculation about your dickishness.

@A Pimp Named DaveR: The complaint may have been an over-reaction, but that doesn't make the problem less legitimate and neither does the feature's ubiquity. It may not be a complaint you share, but it sounds like something service providers should look at changing or offering as an option.

False.

@OCEntertainment: "This seems to be a favored opinion among those who thoroughly believe that folks are just getting Android on Verizon because it's the best choice they have without the iPhone, rather than they're, personal, best choice."

@usedtowork: Both xbox and PS3 have new releases available for purchase and rent (not through Netflix).

@Malfunktion v2: I'm running Cyanogenmod 6 and I'm very happy with it. It'll step up your clock speed a bit too.

@Guard: That's a common misconception. The recording industry is in trouble. The music industry is thriving.

Jesus, I may not always agree with you, but you've won my heart with that rant. Simmons=Assclown.

Well if Oprah likes it, then I'll just rush right out and buy one.

@shenanigans: My wife's got an Eris and I've got a Droid (original). There is a night and day difference in speed. Give one of the new (even faster) Android phones a go before you pull the trigger on the iphone.
