@2 replies: I'm with you there. Those Apple commercials were entertaining, but I now have an unquenchable loathing for Justin Long. The Microsoft bunch is nerdy and absurd beyond all reason, but not detestable.

@gebinsk: Maybe. It's not always that simple. If you can eliminate the need to maintain separate inventories you might save a bunch of money on logistics.
@sygyzy: I use the Zedge app. That works pretty well for me.
@Wilson: That I don't know. I know there are apps for android that'll make your phone the server, but you've still got to browse files from the client. All control and initiation is done from client.

@metronome49: I don't use a PC. Once I get my phone connected to my wireless network, I can stream to either my PlayStation or xbox.

@elephantattack: This is already possible. There is an android app called TwonkyServer that will stream anything on your phone to any UPnP and DLNA device.
