In terms of lifehacking, this actually does make sense. It makes you less available and allows you to focus on your work with less distraction. Texting and email allows for more succinct communication.

Some bells are dorky. Spurcycle clearly understood the stigma and created a bell that I would happily put on a bike. The “ba-ring, ba-ring” sounds dorky and for most people safety isn’t as important as looking cool. Hence people who ride without a helmet. I don’t disagree with you, bells are an important safety…
I was never diagnosed with ADHD but I understand the frustration with anxiety and not being able to focus. The first step in coping for me has been limiting all distractions and decisions, write a list of ToDos and take care of the most pressing matters. Other than that, ignoring all other possibilities and just…
If a realtor gives you a debt calculator disregard it. They will always try to upsell you on what you can afford.
I really would love to add one to my collection but its something that I’m willing to pay $35 at most for.
Juicy Lucy, please. Now I’m excited about it and I don’t eat beef.
Do you use the OverDrive app?
Ryan, you are right. As long as debt is manageable it isn’t a bad thing. If you are disciplined enough to pay it off so that you do not have fees or accrued more interest than it is worth. That is fine. Most people aren’t as well thought out as you which is why they get into trouble.
My wife is about to go part time because she kills herself working full time. Living with less debtors or payees helps with that a lot.
This paragraph was repeated.
Its about never being taught to delay gratification. If your parents put everything on credit and paid only the minimums they set a bad example for you to begin with. My parents had a different problem. They buy a lot but they also made a lot of money so they owned a lot of things and took a lot of vacations without…
Recovering Person A here. From a young age I always wanted bigger, shinier and brand name. I’ve reformed quite a bit. My car isn’t flashy but economical, my clothes are from discounters and taken to an inexpensive dry cleaner to prolong their life and my home is only 1100 square feet. We do live in a really good…
This is an argument I gave up on long ago. I am a mechanical engineer who studied materials as part of my curriculum. I just can’t convince his 65 year old baked in mind.
My dad uses a benchtop grinder with a coarse wheel to sharpen his knives. The blades are now uneven, discolored and dull. He still stands by it and offers to sharpen my knives.
It feels like more than that. You are not only upset about cheaters but cheaters cheating pointlessly. It takes away the fun of the game but complaining about it seems also fruitless because well it’s a videogame. So it’s not productive in the conventional sense but it is a source of fun and it seems petty to complain…
Oh man, the story about the boy from India hit me like a lead brick. Some of the questions you get even when you are born in the states about your home country can be downright insulting. I’ve taken the position to say, “You should really look questions like that up.”
So my University of Phoenix degree is worthless?
My wife needed an ENT to remove hers because they were so embedded. He had to use a topical spray to numb and stop her from gagging and then pop them out. Thank God, it smelled HORRENDOUS.
I read the whole thing and that kinda hurts my head man. I really don’t... I just I think I need a break.
Could someone turn this into an app?
