What was peaceful about it? On any given day, a person yelling obscenities at the police would result in an arrest for disturbing the peace... maybe even a tase to the balls. Throw in some sexual assaults and deaths and I think a bulldozer does a pretty good job.

Good luck. There were 500 police officers in force that day. I'm sure more than several officers had weapons that would fall in the less than lethal category.

Uh, no he shouldn't be fired. The fact that the police were asking the people to clear the park and people were not moving was enough for the police to go in there and tear gas the entire place. The protestors were lucky that 1) this isn't china and 2) the police were actually giving them time to vacate.

I'm surprised anyone can come to any conclusion based on what I saw. For all I know, how is this any different than your typical soccer player throwing themselves on the ground in hopes to get another player a yellow/red card.

I think you got it backwards. Its the right wing who believe that only certain provisions in life are freedoms. Everything else, you need to work for. Its the left side that believes everything they take for granted should be a freedom. Internet, Healthcare, Welfare, etc. So stfu. :)
