gamergate: we're offending that you implied we'd rape people but still LOL A GIRL GOT GANGRAPED LOLLOLOLOLOLOLOL

I think it's simpler than that. We've seen real-world versions of mobs of people running. Mobs of slow zombies staggering towards their prey, looking almost, but not quite, human is alien to us while being familiar and it is much more unsettling.

A good atmosphere is more terrifying than any makeup...

I guess I'm not sure what's wrong with this. Perhaps the shift to a male perspective is a huge loss, but the shift to a kids' movie isn't inherently bad.

I always figured that the racism in Team America was a comically-exaggerated pastiche of the lack of cultural sensitivity that goes into the genre of film that's being parodied. Many action films and video games really don't bother with empathy or authenticity when it come to the heritage and origins of the enemy

And the one about Atheists never being able to resist telling everyone what they don't believe in...

"smoke a little twist of Hobbit herb" - So, tobacco? Am I the only one who gets annoyed that everyone thinks it's marijuana?

Lol I feel like this article is just reinforcing that if you're white you're always wrong. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. In that case, I choose 'don't'. Cheers!

This is great and well written but the premise has gotten so tired. Black people aren't a monolith as recent events have demonstrated.

DC Comics, 2010/2011:

I never really enjoyed the Blair Witch Project. But I did see Curse of the Blair Witch and that was a mockumentary about the found footage film. To be honest, it was well made, and came off very believable, like an episode of unsoved mysteries. I actually found it to be more creepy than the Blair Witch movie itself.
