In Brazil it is very common to put black stickers on B-pillars in cars that don’t have this. It even have a name: “blackout”. But some cars isn’t designed to have this kind of treatment and the results are awful. To me the Beetle is one because the pillars sticks out too much from the windows and the side windows…

The issue with this mod is that the pillars are part of the door frame itself (instead of being covered with a black trim piece) so it sticks out instead of being flush with the glass.

I like this idea. Having a German and an English company involved solves the problems with the last time something like this was tried
