I actually agree with you. Poor choice of words on my part.

Oh my god is that the truth.
I used to thrift homemade VHS tapes years ago as this weird hobby I got into somehow. The best thing I ever found was a tape of stuff from Minneapolis station KTMA, which some of you might recognize as the early home of Mystery Science Theater 3000. As best I could guess, it was from around the time the show started.…
Not a pirate, sorry.
On point number one, seriously, just ask. I don't have eyes in the back of my head. Not trying to be an asshole either. All you have to do is ask.
Death Waltz usually does. Or at least they used to.
@Andrea Battleground, I guess I'm on the flip side from you. I'm 6'3" and I try to be as considerate of those around me as I can. However, I'm not going to hide in the back of a venue just because I'm tall, a decision which has almost gotten me into a fight a time or two. I paid to be there same as everyone else. If…
Completely forgot about the Cake thing.
182,000 sold gets you a Billboard number 1 this week? Wow. I knew the music industry was in the crapper, but that's a pretty pathetically low number.
The aforementioned "Hot Rats" is a popular choice, as it's instrumental, with one exception (and then it's Captain Beefheart singing.) Not really experimental so much as proto-fusion.
I caught the Zappa bug early in life and have gone through all kind of phases with the man and his music. I've come to the realization that 66-72 is gonna be the sweet spot for me. I like the rawer sound of the older bands. After Zappa had his accident, it seems to me the music got more clinical and Zappa himself more…
I disagree.
So you're saying the male Taylor Swift basically?
True. I have to admit though, the nostalgia is strong with those butchered US versions, at least for me. That's what I grew up with and it still feels weird to hear the correct British versions even though they've been available here for so long.
The US got seven Beatles tracks (side one of the UK album) and five instrumentals from the George Martin Orchestra.
Dik, you've hit on the only thing in my mind that I see as a plus for HRC. Even so, I'm not 100% on the possibility of her nominating anyone even remotely progressive for the Supreme Court. Plus the air of enevatibility sickens me even more now than it did back in '04.
I have a hunch it all comes down to Wingnutwelfare. I'd bet the same people who bulk buy right wing books to get them on the sales charts (indicated by a dagger on the New York Times sales charts, just so you know I'm not making this up,) fund these things too.
Considering I'm still waiting for the packages to arrive, that would be rather difficult at the moment. Pre-orders are a sucker's game. Still, I should have the colored vinyl coming, so yay?
I've seen Willie three times and he and his band are always fantastic. It's always a fun show as he keeps pulling out songs you'd forgotten he was associated with or wrote. Plus it's cool that he still plays this broke ass acoustic guitar that's seriously worn through on the top. The guy's a national treasure.
Glad this album is alright. I accidentally pre-ordered two copies. Oops.
