I cannot accept that Milos Raonic is not included here, even if it only would have been to have his chances dismissed. He’s the No. 5 seed.

Oh I know. Exorbitant as it is, that’s money that at least should have gone back to the good people of Ontario in government revenues. But our Conservative premier at the time decided to sell it for a bag of pucks and half a dozen stale donuts.
You can bring your American hate for the 407 here any time, my friend.
Djokovic up a set on DelPo as I type, but a Thiem vs. DelPo semi would be a good match to watch, only to see which one would be first to have their right arm fly right out of its socket and into the stands after all the punishing forehands.
It’s not. You shouldn’t be. This one is going to extras, OT, 5 sets, pick your sports metaphor.
He will not be gone in a month or two. Much more likely everybody lives through this horror for his full term.
Because DelPo is still clawing his way back up the rankings after that lengthy injury layoff. Sucks for him but it makes for some nice early round match ups for fans.
Fed’s announcement has the feeling of inevitability. I didn’t see how he could play the French without playing ANY of the tune up tournies beforehand, especially Madrid and/or Rome.
Assuming this goes heavily in favour of Rafa — which everyone seems to think so — you gotta figure he’s going to savour it as sweet revenge for all the matches since 2011 where his best was just not good enough to beat.
Thank you, I’ve been waiting for this post. Murray’s terrible 2017 seems to have received far less notice thanks to all the noise about Djokovic’s decline (ahem, Giri).
Maybe Andre can crystallize a new method for him.
Let’s not forget everybody was wondering some of the same things about Rafa for the last couple of years. Even Rafa himself admitted that his confidence had slipped and he went through two years of hardly winning anything. Now look how he is roaring back to the top.
I have lost respect for Johnny Mac after seeing this photo.
Or the Germans at Vimy
Please tell me I’m not the only who will be happy not to have to look at Vajda’s fleshy face in his box anymore.
Yes. This is the first season in it. And given that the Oilers enjoy pretty good attendance your round, I’m surprised it has taken until the playoffs for this problem to emerge.
She should have to qualify for the French. If she cannot blow through 3 rounds of qualies she does not deserve to be in main draw anyway. And think of the media attention it would bring to the part of the tournament nobody normally pays attention to?
My first thought also. What is Richard Branson doing taking pics at Monte Carlo Masters?
Ya, no question, this stadium has the most picturesque setting of any stop on the men’s tour. I like watching the Monte Carlo matches as much for the views as the tennis.
