I remember the Quintuplets show existed, but I probably would’ve forgotten about it if not for Arrested Development.

All true, including the highlighting of Paget Brewster specifically. (I do feel Portia de Rossi did a great job with a similar character in Better Off Ted— Victor Fresco created both-- but Paget came first and really nailed it.
“Evil”? “The Rat”? “Naked As We Came”? Finally, it’s 2004 again!
I doubt anyone will read this twelve years later, but I thought it was pretty clearly a joke. It doesn’t come across as clearly on the page, but having seen the DVD commentaries, Mirkin is heavily sarcastic in a lot of the stuff he says, and a lot of what he says in this interview series is similar to what he says on…
Projection from the people who have been spending all their time expressing their hatred of trans people as “feminism.”
I’ll give J.K. Rowling this:
The Labour Party invited her to have a conversation on gender issues or some shit like that. She’s not any kind of expert on the subject; she’s just a rich bigot.
The dude in particular is a total pro, always hitting his mark on when to pour the champagne no matter how much Welles slurs his way around that part.
Hah, I just watched the one with “Frau Doubtfire.”
They really go back to Duke thinking Jay is gay a lot. (I also noticed, watching the DVD commentary for “A Star Is Burns,” that most of Jon Lovitz’s riffing seems to be calling other people gay.)
My favorite little detail of the Paul Masson commercial is that, if you actually listen to Welles’ dialogue, it’s clearly supposed to be a satisfied “Ahhh!” Followed by “The French champagne is known for its excellence...” But the way he reads it, it’s like he’s frightened or startled: “AAAHHH, THE FRENCH!! Champagne…
Yeah, they’re both great characters and hilarious whenever they’re on. I also have a hard time choosing between them.
And Mrs. Pell’s Fish Sticks. Yes! Oh, yes! They’re even better raw!
One of the funniest things I've seen is the It's Always Sunny outtakes from the "Lethal Weapon 5" episode, where Hauser is playing the Juggalo student, and he's riffing and improvising with the rest of the cast and getting them to break. His talent was evident even that young.
Now I'm picturing something like GOB Bluth asking about the pet store's return policy after he walked into the door and killed the dove he bought, but with, like, a ninja carrying Mariko's head or something.
I thought he was the MVP of Mr. Mayor, which was pretty impressive since, while I’d never disliked him, I’d never thought of him in his TV appearances as someone who truly stood out or elevated the material.
I think it’s a fever dream, because he’s holding Mariko’s cross in those scenes, but we know he leaves that in the water.
I remember Emily and it was cool to see her name in the credits. She’s been credited in some role every episode, I think (maybe just as a producer if it’s not a “written by” credit), and I think she’s also one of the hosts of the show’s official podcast.
Perhaps in this case for a little too much follow-through.
In terms of a couple of the specific traits mentioned about these cast members— I can recommend I Love That For You if you want to see Vanessa Bayer’s awkwardly masking smile put to fantastic effect, and Digman! if you can’t get enough of Samberg’s Nicolas Cage. Both very funny shows.
