Eww no... the Sega Genesis only had the graphics to match it looking like a cartoon, but everything else is garbage. The levels are tacky and uninspiring, the controls are jank, hit boxes are off, Aladdin fights with a sword he shouldn’t have that barely works and you never feel like it should when it does. The Genie

I can’t be the only who’s noticed that the Genesis game just isn’t that good apart from the eye candy, the controls and level design is lousy.

Back in the day, the Genesis version was considered better pretty much because it had a sword. However, it wasn’t actually that fun to use. The SNES version with it’s emphasis on platforming and defeating enemies by jumping on them was actually far more entertaining to play. If you played it right, it felt like you

As someone who owned both the SNES and the Genesis versions I still prefer the SNES version.

I’ve recently replayed them both.

So, the Genesis version of Aladdin definitely looks better, they did have the benefit of working with animators at Disney. However, I hold the the SNES version plays better because it more accurately portrays the parkour like movements of Aladdin in the early going of the movie which makes for some really fun

Can anyone help me send this guy some scotch, or whatever counts as Japanese scotch? He needs a gift from a fan.

Hey, if he loves doing it, then good for him.

The dude cannot stop.

Anything inspired by Eric Chahi’s “Out of this World” is a win in my book. Yeah, the 80's aesthetic works so well with this, probably because it falls back on the weird essence of the 80's and doesn’t rely on “look a rubiks cube/delorean/power glove” tropes that so many others do.

I think it’s clear that the Russians were pushing to support Trump, but I think they (like everyone else) still thought Hillary would win. Trump winning was more than they thought they could get.

Good article. Even the most obtuse Trump supporter should be able to rationalize that Russia didn’t seek to influence this election in order to ensure that the strongest candidate won. They wanted (and got) the naive, exploitable guy.

For reference: this is the original photo.

Re; Company bloat.

20 people were laid off of activision because of said bloat.

Oh, Btw! - the ceo of activision, Bobby Kotick is worth 7 Billion (with a b) dollars.

So, yeah, i mean when you think about it, the salaries of those 20 middle class workers was the only thing that they could possibly cut. Literally

Does anybody have good, healthy, positive associations with growing up in a religious family? I feel a solidarity with other people who grew up Catholic, but for the most part we are talking shit about how messed up it was. I'm not saying that every Catholic is terrible, it really needs to be something you choose as

Yup. 26 year old here still scared to tell her mom she's (probably) agnostic!

"Overall, not believing in God seems to make people and their offspring more tolerant. Less racist. Less sexist. Enviro-friendly."

My mother would be sooo upset I liked this post. I think I might just have to wait till I pop out a kid to have the discussion that I want to raise them without religion.
