Sitting there, I was sad, I knew perfectly well that they would rectify this culling in the next avengers, but nonetheless, to me it was still sad. And then Peter, we get to Peter and the feels dam broke with a might crack, and Tony’s despair over it, the weight of it.

I was shocked by a lot of deaths (Peter was the sadest but T’Chala was the most shocking) but then I realised that they removed all the new heroes and went back to basic. It’s pretty much just the original six Avengers left (I’m sure Burton survived too) plus some minor friends. They will have to get the band back…

Yeah...Peter’s vanishing at the end still haunts me today. Holland has done great work with the role. He and the writers very naturally remind you that the character is still just a high schooler.

Wanda did pretty well too, I was hoping we’d get more of that. Okoye’s line about her was spot-on. Feige has said Captain Marvel will be more powerful than any of them, so I’m excited for her triumphant entrance.

I think it was still shocking. At first, I was shocked at who they erased. But then, I realized it was all the sort of “new” squad who will be the focus in Phase 4, leaving only the original core of Avengers so they can have their swan song in Avengers 4.

I wish Black panther 2, Spiderman homecoming 2, possible Dr Strange 2, etc. weren’t already announced. Not that anyone thinks they’d let it stay this way, but to know these movies are in production turns it into “how will they correct this” versus “Will they correct this”.

I saw the movie last night specifically so that I could resume using the internet.
