As a Volvo owner I have had to deal with a lot of hate and ignorance. I once got a “Volvo makes a performance car? I can only imagine what that’s like.” comment about my S60R from the owner of a Lexus IS250C. My cousin’s husband is the Ivy League type, works for Nike Corporate. We’re connected on Instagram and

I guess we can assume what his home looks like.

I’ve had a roommate who didn’t want anything out on tables or counters. TV remote? In a drawer (any drawer). Coffee table book? In a drawer (any drawer). Drink coaster? In a drawer (any drawer). To me a comfortable place looks like it’s been lived in. Not like it’s a furniture store showroom.

The track wasn’t great, I agree, but I think worked to fit into their discount, knock-off, Top-Gear-but-not-really motif. But yes, a better track with a different driver would have been much more enjoyable.

I know he was supposed to be the discount Stig and that he truly has racing experience, but the over-the-top presentation of his character was abrupt, overshadowed the hot laps, and cut into his credibility as a talented driver.
