Talking cars. I remember when my brother was test driving cars for his 16th birthday, and I rode along. We were in an early 90s Maxima and a woman’s voice would say things like “Door ajar” and “the key is in the ignition”.

I wish car makers had a modern version of these. A parking sensor or camera next to the wheel well would do wonders to prevent curb rash.
