You could buy Michigan with $300,000.

Excellent article, Dream Crusher!

Do you remember how I said I'd never buy another Volkswagen?

Haha. I've been going easy on VW lately, ever since they showed up at my door with an armored Jetta and said "You'll need this."

I <3 u guys but goddamn...

I started out with a 1994 GTI that rusted out from under me, but dammit, I loved that thing. I've recently bought a used 2010 GTI, and not two weeks off the lot (bought from a VW dealership, CPO and with an extended warranty), and it's got a leak and the SatNav/Sirius radio don't work. I still love that thing,

I'm not sure the Sportwagen R or Polo are going to make much of a difference in the US market, but there is something to that. VW basically invented the minivan, but all they have to offer is a barely warmed over Chrysler. Why can't they make a new Bus? A Baja Beetle would be like nothing else on the road, and might

Nothing wrong with wanting VW to succeed. Right now, except for the GTI, they don't really make the quirky cars that VW fans loved in days of old, but they don't make cars that will sell in volume either.

I admit, I really come across as hating Volkswagen. FYI I owned a GTI and an A4 and I loved them both, so I don't know what it is. Maybe it's just that Volkswagen has some issues they need to work out.
