I’m honestly a little shocked at the straightforward admission that folks don’t care about the human beings who create the things they love.

It’s a very good way to keep yourself misinformed (if you care to know what’s causing the problems you hate in the games industry, listening to game devs is probably a good place

BG3 should absolutely be used “as an example of what fans should expect in terms of quality, creativity, and ambition in the “AAA””

I hate how much of online gaming discourse revolves around bad takes made by ill-formed idiots looking to make a quick buck off rage-bait videos.

I’m still on the Egyptian one.

Just a roll of the dice you say? (I’ll see myself out)

It’s obvious that we’re not dealing with criminal masterminds here.

That girl in the middle has the darkest, most oblong face I’ve ever seen.

Yeah but I don’t even get how it was a “crime of opportunity”...they had to know cameras exist right? Doesn’t everyone assume there is security including cameras at an event facility like this? To just do this blatantly on camera without even trying to obscure your identity and wearing your own merch...you’d think the

Considering the merchandise was worth $300k, I think a jail cell will be a bigger barrier to publishing a new game rather than animosity within the industry.

im surprised MTG hasnt sicced the Pinkertons to help out

This story gets crazier and crazier. Did they not think there were cameras? The theft was so brazen. They’re wearing their own merch FFS.

I caught an advanced screening with the director in ATX last weekend.

That means nothing. Discovery Warner was also impressed with the Flash, which got a lukewarm reception at best. Lol

I remember playing the Prisoner of Azkaban game and thinking “I wish I could make my own student and just dick around a massive open world Hogwarts.”  Now they’ve finally done it and. . . all my interest has been ruined by JKR revealing herself to be a Terf Eater.

I bought tickets for this 3 weeks ago and I still can’t believe it’s honest to God happening. I’m glad it’s going over so well!

It really does feel like this; something that you happen to see at GameStop for twenty or thirty buck and you’re like “Well okay then. I’ll pick it up.”

Even without the controversy attached to it, Hogwart’s Legacy always looked like the kind of games that you sorta want to play but are okay waiting for it to eventually go on sale before you buy it.

SNW is fantastic, Picard S3 is great, Lower Decks is phenomenal, Prodigy was awesome.

I disagree, the wiggle room mostly seems like a lack of continuity and canon enforcement. Still, glad for your opinion :)
