however, Hasbo DID just make a deal with Marvel so that Marvel can reprint ROM and Micronauts omnibuses (omnibi?).

I wonder why women might want to keep a low profile when playing online games or interacting with gaming communities…
Never made sense to me why man-babies whine when they find out their cherished myths about gamers turn out to be just that...myths.
Broke: The PC gaming crowed has a 50/50 split between men and women
Shocking news, approximately half of the population are approximately half of the people involved in a popular past-time.
Poor boys in insular lifestyles, raised to believe that they ‘deserve’ a woman. Whatever those deem to be ‘men-only’ activities turn out to be emotionally underdeveloped/stunted man-children that are afraid of the world.
Gamers is synonymous with shitty dudes that never fully matured into men in spite of their age.
And then there’s the rest of us that enjoy video games and have respect for women (and other people in general). I wish there was a convenient word for that
*overgrown boys* react poorly
Just wait until they hear that Black people play video games too!
The whole Andrew Tate worshipping gamer crowd is just weird to me. Growing up as a kid in the 90s, a girl who knew her way around a video game was the girl every boy wanted to hang out with at my school, now the tiki torchers want to gate-keep video games into a sausage fest.
Of the ten friends of whom I have swapped Friend Codes on Switch, eight are women. And they love them some Zelda and Fire Emblem in particular
I mean, you can only analyze the data you have. If men don’t answer or don’t answer honestly, there’s not much you can do. Also, with THAT said, if you broke it down to type of game and genre, I’m willing to bet that women aren’t in multi player lobbies with voice chat on. They likely get harassed if they do. So they…
*men* react poorly
Certainly the best nobody watched.
I honestly feel like the only thing that killed this series was the monumentally large amount of time between season releases.
That’s the double-edged sword of only having two people doing the majority of the creative work. Doc and Jackson have talked about how they could do more episodes if they had a writers room, but the show wouldn't be the same and that's not something they were willing to sacrifice.
Because we’ve had 7 seasons across 18 years(!!) of this shows existence: we’re lucky we got that far in the first place, let alone a movie to cap it off. This was always a show that kinda disappeared, came back for a year or two then disappeared again.
Even just from the trailer this is so clearly hysterically well-written why oh why are they ending this series?? There are series (which may remain nameless) which are utterly exhausted by comparison and they have no designated end. (dang it, explore the back story of The Alchemist if nothing else)
Am looking forward to seeing this story get wrapped up, and delighted they have been given the space to do so. Genuinely think this show has been a dark horse for one of the best (animated) shows of the last 10, 15 years. Certainly the best nobody watched.
