Looking at just the MCU, has there really been a “failure?”

naw, he (it?) would have to have a heart in the first place for it to shrink

That, and “in an alternate version of the future where robots and humans co-exist” ... uh, robots and humans already co-exist today, in fact we/they have for decades. Did the author mean cyborgs or robots capable of true artificial intelligence, like Bishop in Aliens or something?

wasn’t that from War Games? The one starring a young Matthew Broderick?

I think it’s useful here to make a distinction between how clean a fuel is when burned (you’re right of course, natural gas burns cleaner than just about everything besides hydrogen) and how clean it is to mine/produce: first and foremost, fracking is one of the absolute filthiest ways of obtaining a fossil fuel (as

I’m not a gamer (at least not a “real gamer”) but I’m guessing part of it - if not all of it - is: some people might like to have something they can just hold in their hand(s), as opposed to needing a desk (or table or other flat surface). ya know, no one’s gonna be comfortable using a keyboard and mouse if they’re

you kid, but as i’m sure you know, there are a lot of people who are absolutely convinced of this, or some similar absolutely bonkers theory. one more of countless examples of it being nearly impossible to distinguish satire from real life.

YES. ALL OF THIS.

Yes. I know because I’ve done it with my new iPhone 12. Totally works fine, and for most people it costs $0. Two, uh, caveats:

good to know, i guess... mostly I’m secure that by this point, basically nobody is going to be coming here to learn anything at all about marijuana in any of its various forms.

I’m in the same boat here in Minnesota - I guess we’re not doing as badly as Wisconsin, or South Dakota (especially Sturgis), but still not good. And after a (very) little research, so far we don’t seem to have any plan to develop an app either, although it’s worth noting that those hardest hit are also least likely

On one hand, it’s hard to argue with that - if I did the grown-up thing I would have just gotten the updated iPhone SE for less than half the price.

But it is though! If the SE was your favorite, the 12 mini is definitely the one you want (unless you’re also considering the newer SE, which looks like a great phone and a phenomenal deal).

Good to know, thanks! I made sure to get a case for it, and my plan is to keep it in the case nearly all the time, so hopefully that’ll be enough to avoid chips, dents, scratches, etc.

I just got this very phone (with 128 GB storage, only $50 more) and have had it for 2-3 days now. For the most part, I’m very pleased with it!

yep. i should probably admit that I’m kind of a hypocrite, I’ve used them a few times and I’ll probably use them a few more, but I’m doing better at checking if I can find what I want somewhere besides Amazon and ordering from them instead.

BINGO.

Sure, you could argue that the Amazon Shopper Panel itself doesn’t violate antitrust laws, but there’s zero doubt in my mind that the whole point of collecting the info is to further cement their monopoly, and I don’t see how any reasonable person could argue otherwise (to be clear, I’m not trying to insult you here,

ok but she is very pretty so she gets a pass. don’t blame me, i don’t make the rules.
