I know I am in the minority, but I really have no interest in streaming or Spotify, or anything like that (Pandora). Or even .mp3s really, unless something is not available on CD. (I'll rip my own CDs for my music player for running, but that's it.)

Neither have I…of course, that's because I still have them, and still but them.
If I make my house an official meeting place for the Church of the Subgenius, how do I go about applying to be a location?

A former A.V. Club contributor has some very positive things to say about Seger, including a link to some of a Bob Seger System track, if you're interested:
I don't know if I should laugh at this, or take a cold shower.
I saw this at a drive in…I think I was 4.
This is the best thing I have read all day.
What, no special edition of 'Give My Regards To Broad Street", the original McCartney cash in on previously written/released material? (although, "No More Lonely Nights" IS a forgotten great single of the 80s).

Well, you're right.
In answer to the last line of the article:
I'm old enough to have seen this in a now long gone drive in theater.
While always a fasciniating read, nexy weeks entry on numbers stations should be awesome for those who have no idea what they are.
Having been completely caught up on the books since 2011, I need to go back and re-read, although I realize the show might be going off in a different direction than the books.
Watched a DVR'd Palladia airing of Sonisphere 2011. I was introduced to Biffy Clyro from Scotland, and In Flames from Sweden. Gonna check them out.
The power trio of "Shoot To Thrill', 'What Do You Do For Money Honey', and 'Given The Dog A Bone' has to stand as the most bedazzling celebration of dumb, caveman machismo ever created. But 'Shoot To Thrill' is the maybe the best thing they ever did. It almost seems to revel in its Who-ish sound, with Angus' solo…
My vinyl copy lists Mark Dearnly as the engineer, and David Thoener as the mixing engineer.
Or with a ride cymbal
Of which Highway To Hell was better, right?
