That is a movie that really needs a Blu ray special edition as well as someone spending some time and fixing the god-awful ADR heavy soundtrack. You would think it was made in Italy in the 60's.

I was about to delete my comment, but yeah, they were scary for kid me at the time.
Thanks for this. Articles that reach back well beyond 1990 are what drew me to io9 in the first place.

They were going to have two of these set up at once, but due to Kauffman being an AL park they were unable to execute a double Switch.
It’s really quite simple.
I miss Affleck and Cavil in their roles. Horrible scripts, filming, and direction aside. the actors themselves? [chef kiss]. They are great for both roles. They are not perfect, Cavil could use a lot more differentiation in his playing the Kent role. Affleck plays a perfect Bruce Wayne, but his Batman could be mess…

IMHO the Stallone version isn’t as bad as people say, but it did manage to make a couple of big mistakes. The first was pissing off the die hard fans by having him take off the helmet both metaphorically and physically. The second is casing Rob Schneider as a pseudo-sidekick who is tonal-whiplash personified.
The Robin Hood thing looks like Kingsmen: The Plague Years.
Arthur Curry is reluctant to save Atlantis until he finds out it’s also called Martha.
