People buy M3's that will never see a track. People buy crossovers that they’ll never fill all seven seats with. People buy duallys that will never tow anything more than a jet ski. I’m honestly so tired with comments like this. We get it, consumers are dumb. But let’s just celebrate the fact that companies like Ford

They’re not protesters when they start smashing and stealing shit. They’re rioters and thieves.

The Volt is the only electric car I know of (outside of Tesla) that hasn’t seen battery degradation. GM did a really good job engineering it - even though it’s 16.xx KW it never uses more than about 11 of them. So the battery’s never fully charged or fully discharged, something they don’t like. The liquid cooling and

All good questions. I’ll do my best to answer them.

I have a 2013 volt that I traded my MazdaSpeed3 for. So far so good. 2-3 year old volts are so cheep on the used market right now they are pretty good value. I just wish they were a teeny little bit faster.

While I do love convenience, I love quirky things more, and on top of that I like saving money on routine things. I’ve already gone solar, not necessarily to be “green”, but because I love that I don’t have to pay for my electricity usage anymore. And it’ll be great with an electric car that I don’t have to make a

I too had a Gen 1 volt for 3 years, then the ELR now... 15k miles to a tank of gas and 1 fill up in 18 months... (I have chargers at home and work). Next? Ct-6 plug-in or plug-in Panamera are fun choices (kids w/ legs)... i8 is what calls to me. Will probably do same thing you did: Gen 2 volt. How do you like the Gen

Buying a used Volt is the way to go. You can pick 11's and 12's for around 11-12k. A higher mileage 13 is around the same price. I paid half price after only 1 year for my 15, it still has 20k and 2 years left on the factory bumper to bumper warranty.

Funny that you should ask.

The “barring bathroom breaks” exception is the sort of exception that makes a tank that large unnecessary in my opinion. My bladder can’t last 430 miles so why should I expect my car to? Same goes for my stomach. If I’m going to stop for lunch and to pee, I might as well have my car refueling in the parking lot while

Bear with me a minute as I know what I’m about to say makes no sense to most. I’m torn between getting the Bolt or waiting a few more months for the Caddy CT6 Plug-in Hybrid.

Do you have a 2005 XC90, or are you just so insane you pulled that out of thin air as a reference point?

That is false as hell. I’m not a fanboy either. I encourage you to administer a bunch of apple products.

You can shoot pigs out of it.

If you want to spend $160 for non-noise cancelling, fall out of your ear earbuds that last 5 hours when being used. Go for it.

Engage and disengage brakes to slow vehicle down incrementally. The moment of disengagement permits the rotors/drum and pads/shoes to get air and cool down resulting in better and longer lasting performance. Only caveat is to plan way in advance and leave sufficient braking space to get speed under control. Also adds

He means that the driver should use the lowest gear possible, let the speed rise a little, slow down with the brakes, let the speed rise, slow down with the brakes, etc. It allows the brakes to cool down before reapplication.

Prohibited.... Pfft.

What is pulse brake?
