Every one of his solos on "Aries."

The bass intro, I take it?

I love you, Larry Kidkill.

Your auto-correct makes "Bill Withers" into "Grover Cleveland?" What have you been feeding it?

Waited for someone else to bring it up. But yes.

I always wondered -without ever going and looking- who did it first, ol' Thunderfingers, or whoever the bass player was for the Pretty Things, circa "Honey I Need."

Also Thomas Dolby on synth for "I've Been Waiting for a Girl Like You," although again -like "Baker Street"- it's the main hook of the song, so therefore not a solo.

True, it was a dumb generalization plus freshman-year seminar-level I Am More Enlightened Than You bullshit, but to call it racist goes too far.
No, this is just a young person (guessing!) who thinks this would be a good place to score easy points. Despite the fact that talking shit to a bunch of pop culture obsessives

Way to ruin the concern-troller's good time.

People keep on failing to get that.

And even that did not stop like, thirty people from name-checking it. The sax is the hook! The solo is a guitar!

Also, god I hate that guy. Three hour shows, endless "Framptone" solos, half the crowd is gone by hour two, even the very old. While running a spotlight on him, I nearly fell asleep one time.

Can't ignore that magical electric piano solo in "Empty Pages," either.

Songs that have exactly enough cowbell:
"Hair of the Dog" - Nazareth
"Still I'm Sad" - Rainbow
the entirety of the "Too Fast for Love" album by Motley Crue

"Sisyphus (pt. 2)," with the piano destruction solo of madness.

The generalized noise solo at the end of "Show Biz Kids," the vibe solo in "The Razor Boy…"

I did not read all the way down, and someone else certainly might have posted this, but: Elvin Jones' final drum solo in 'A Love Supreme's' third part, "Pursuance." There is a God, and his name is Elvin motherfuckin' Jones.

You haven't lived until you've heard his show-stopping fretwork on the guitar solo of "Zhairway to Zmeaven" by his band, Zmed Lepplin'.

"We got the Sorensons! Sitting next to The Jones Street Boys! We've got The Moonrunners! Right by the Van Courtland Rangers! Nobody…is wasting nobody. And THAT- is a miracle!"
"Uh, the Jake Paulers are here too, Cyrus, and…"
'WASTE THEM."

Internet Judge: "I'll allow it!" (gavel bangs)
