Well, and who doesn't want to watch Chevy Chase visit with Henry Rollins about their mutual love of jazz?

Charles Grodin's short-lived thing on CNN, too. Although I think that one actually qualifies as a secret success.
I audited the Bizzy Phillips course at the University Without Courses. I got a "Well Played" on the final.
Next, I'm making myself read 'The Wayward Bus,' and perhaps 'To A God Unknown.'
But the Steinbeck book I'd really like to see made into a movie? 'Travels With Charley.'
Upvoted for comment/username synergy.
There's no way Bart Simpson is winning all those chess games!
Pretty damn good, I thought. It does actually lag a lot in the second half. But I like the ongoing ambiguity of what Mac is actually trying to achieve: organizing the laborers, or forcing a bloody confrontation.
And now we have the true nightmare scenario: someone tells James Franco about Italo Calvino novels!
and Da Boyzzz!
I even kind of think The Room itself is more or less all the more comment one needs on the subject. It's redundant to then make a movie specifically stating that This Movie Was Poorly Acted and Directed by a Vaguely Insane Man with Mysterious Origins.
I just got done reading it. The whole time noting how easy it would be for the right director to make it into a fantastic movie.
Yeahhh…
A lot of old people really abuse the Nice Old Person card. No matter how shitty they are, you can't say anything about it because all you're doing is being mean to an old person.
Of course, they spend the rest of their time being ignored, so I kinda get it.
I wonder how many times an 's' was accidentally printed on the end of that 'circle.'
A far older sentiment than the taboo against speaking ill of the dead is, "Of the dead, only the truth." You can't hurt their feelings anymore, and you might just do something useful for those of us still here.
Better still, be honest while they're still alive, too.
I was often "Janine Turner in 'Cliffhanger'"
I think you guys might be thinking of Finland, which entered the war on the side of the Nazis (baby-blue swastikas on their planes and all), largely due to how much they hated the Russians.
Although that is one of those novelty laws that would remain on the books forever, I imagine. Like being legally required each time you went out for a drive to have a buddy running ahead yelling, "HORSELESS CARRIAGE!"
"There Was Supposed To Be Blood"
"I'M DONE! Well, no wait…I'D LIKE TO DO THAT AGAIN!"
