I mean, I just don’t have the energy to pretend to be surprised or shocked. I’ve seen the video and listened to the lyrics. I sort of assumed something like this was on record already.

Lindsey Lohan was a first crush and I have always really rooted for a comeback. But not via NFT furries or movies costarring abusive pornstars.

I would chalk that up as it being a much weirder film than you would assume. It’s bro-ish and stupid enough to satisfy juveniles but has a streak of pure strangeness that at a glance, makes one wonder if there isn’t more depth to it?

This review seems totally in-line with the trailer but does make on wonder, why not fix some of the issues with the first film instead of doubling down?

Hard to disagree. It’s become a cliche to complain about prequels and shared universes but this one is...a genuinely terrible idea.

Ruth Negga is a gem and deserves to be better utilized.

Well Ultron isn’t technically an employee of anyone so firing him is a dicey proposition.

Does copying and pasting the message help?

You’re both the hero Kinja deserves and also the one it needs right now.

Nor I. It lands between rotoscope and normal animation and doesn’t quite have the charm of either.

This makes me sad. I was trying so hard to post Chip Zdarsky’s wonderful two page Original Sin story (the only good thing to come from original sin), but sadly, it is not to be.

Which in turn reminds me of this.

The thick outlines also bring to mind the How It Should Have Ended animations. I wonder why it looks like that since the defining style of What If has been no strong outlines (especially within faces and bodies).

I would just like to politely agree with you. T2 is a lot of fun, but the first one is a pre-apocalyptic nightmare that wraps up a lot of things I like about 80s sci-fi in a nice package. It’s a more distinct, pointed, tragic and satisfying vignette that I prefer to anything that comes after.

I’m not sure I’ll enjoy actually watching this, but I’m glad it exists. The weird grotesquely compelling nature of some early stop-motion work is something I responded to really strongly as a child, and this sounds fascinating.

Or, watch the full series which will help to enjoy and understand the context of those eight episodes. And also it’s really fantastic, stylish, and well-written.

Sunnnnnshinnnnne.....

Lolllllliiipoppppps...

I mean, we are deeply lonely, awful people here on the internet, but it does seem...noticeable?

The thumbnail coupled with the official poster really foregrounds that nipple.
