It’s not so much high priced signings, but an option or two out wide both in the front and back would’ve been nice to see.

I just have to put them there because despite the drought they do always qualify for the CL.
Wanyama’s okay, he just isn’t an improvement over any of the regular starters which is what is needed when you want to take the next step.
Yep. To have the season they just did, with Champions League football awaiting them, and only make one half-decent signing all summer? Lame.
Maybe to see falling down a flight of stairs.
She’s the only one of you I’d like to spend a night on the town with. I doubt anybody has ever had a boring time in her presence.
He implemented a style of play. People already considered Messi, Xavi and Iniesta to be among the world’s best players by the time Pep got there.
Except he spent on par or more than Madrid in every year bar one and I wouldn’t call Madrid’s expenditures in those years “thrifty”, either. Today €70-90 million deals happen almost on a regular basis so it might be tough to remember that great players cost €30-40 mil as recently as 5 years ago. Just because City were…
Pep managed Barcelona B for one year, 2007-08. The only guys on that team that played a significant role on his Barcelona teams were Busquets and Pedro. Busquets became one of the best mids in the game while Pedro became a good, not great, winger.
The theory wasn’t that Real didn’t outspend them, the fact is Pep spent as much as anybody. I didn’t even mention Real - you brought them into the conversation.
Supercups hardly mean anything.
In 2009 Real spent €230 million on 4 players, 3 of whom were worth the outlay (sorry Kaka). From that point until Pep left Barca and Real spent essentially the same amount annually on players - Real spent€74 mil to Barca’s €71 mil in 2010, Barca spent €60 mil to Real’s €55 mil in 2011.
Who dat?
Not sure what you mean by this...
Putting Lahm in mid was always the craziest idea to me. He was amazing at what he did already, why ruin that lol
Sanches is probably going to cost Bayern about €60 million by the time he hits his performance bonuses, but it’s still worth it as long as he doesn’t get lost in the shuffle of the 25 other Bayern mids.
After 3 weeks?
1) But, those comments are from the writer at The Guardian and Gary Lineker. They have nothing to do with Mourinho or United whatsoever. While The Guardian is a pretty reputable publication in comparison, this is kinda like saying Real or Barca are thumping their chests because AS or Sport are using hyperbole.
Not saying Wilbon is great or anything, but death? Easy.
