I learned by buying a car with a manual and driving it home.

Everyone involved in this has forgotten the golden rule: never tweet.

Kia Souls are fucking great and if Americans weren’t insecure to the point of frantically committing suicide via autoerotic asphyxiation while furiously sobbing against the backdrop of “Proud To Be An American” played on endless repeat, they would be half the cars on the road. I’m prepared to die on this hill, fucking

I got the original in 2009. We put 120k on it in ten years. Perhaps 10k of that were forest service roads. It was a beast. We popped a stove, dishwasher, and water heater in it on different occasions no prob. We traded it in because it was time, nothing broken ever, but it was time.

I read that as a CEO of an EV company being excited about the government supporting clean energy and EVs. I did not see any indication from that statement that he was “sure” or “confident” that his company would get the USPS contact; in fact Schrader didn’t even bring up the USPS contract, the host did.

I’m honestly not sure what most of these guys do all day.”

He was trying to say he was too important to let some stupid speeding ticket interfere with giving Mrs. Jones some botox. It was a power play. I hope he gets his drivers license AND his medical license suspended for a while for that stunt.  He seems too reckless for either.

There are medical safety issues, even with cosmetic surgery. Anything that involves putting people under often requires anaesthesiologists and other specialists on hand. Plenty of people have died due to incorrect anaesthesia, uncontrolled bleeding, etc.

Bet I could work with that. Frame looks clean.

Sometimes I wonder how I can continue to be so naive. Project Postal happened, and I thought “surely it cannot get worse than this.” But hell, DT always finds a way.

The #1 cause of fuel pumps being slow is that I’m already late to wherever I’m heading.

holy shit what is that thing

Five staff answers and they are all reasonable?!? WTF??!!??

The Corvair was famous for killing people, and I can see why. If I bought this for $35K, my wife would murder me. Y’all would never find the body.

C for the effort, F for the price tag.

“Jeep-ne-sais-quoi”

is /chef’s kiss.

Seller: “I’ll let you have it for $1200"

That’s where I am.  This is a somewhat interesting car, but you wouldn’t give it a second look in the 80's, and you shouldn’t now.  At least not for this price.  Somewhere in the $4k range considering the good condition and low miles.

The Germans used coal for synthetic fuel. It was very expensive and inefficient, but was necessary to continue waging war.

Episcopals are no good at grifting. Take the $4000 and give it to Joel Osteen for grifter lessons and you’ll be flying around in a helicopter in no time. God willing.
